What does the BODY MASS INDEX CHART Mean?
  • Individuals with a BMI between 26 and 30 are by definition overweight.
  • Individuals with a BMI over 30 are by definition obese.
  • There are increased mortality rates (dying early) from heart disease and cancer with those individuals who have a BMI over 25.
